The US version is definitely region free. I can't imagine that the UK edition is any different.

If you are going to buy a UK version and post, then I think that region coding will not matter, but the fact it is PAL not NTSC will matter, as very few US tv's can take this input, UK tv's are more flexible in this area.

PAL and NTSC don't really matter with Blu-Ray movies as they are encoded at 1080p24hz. The extras can be a different matter though.

What about buying from a US based website like Amazon, get them to gift wrap it, and then you won't have to worry about overseas postage !
