Ipod Nano with video

Anyone any experience of the video camera with the new Nano's? Been hanging on to get a new mp3 player & I know the nano is probably my best bet anyway but is the video facility any good?

Hi,

Just bought 16GB for daughters b/day present and she's fair chuffed with it.

She had a 2G & 3G Nano before but swears this is the best yet.

Depends what you mean by "any good". For creating youtube videos and suchlike, probably absolutely fine (sample here. Wouldn't make me buy one though...

In short, the nano's video recorder is fun but flawed. The big problem is that the lens
placement makes it very hard to do any filming without a stray finger spoiling
the shot. However, if you can deal with that the nano captures video with
balanced colours and decent detail, and although motion and low-light recording
isn't perfect, for the odd bit of candid camera it's absolutely fine. Of
course, the best thing about the nano is that its video camera is an added
bonus, and even without that ability we'd still recommend it over any of its
rivals.
