iphone dock for lg surround sound system

My sister in law wants to buy my brother a dock system for his surround sound system,i dont know what model it is,he will use a iphone with it.What should she buy?

Hi David ,

as it's an iPhone can't you get an Airport express and use Airplay with the new iPhone operating system. The brother in law can keep his phone on him whilst playing music through his system then...... just a thought.

Yeah,had not thought of that!the only problem with that is the power on the phones goes so quickly,when you use a dock is it charging at the same time?where does the dock plug in to the receiver?i have an iphone but never used a dock.

the Lg surround system should have an Aux phono input.

ah,so your saying iphone>airplay>airport express>minijack-phono cable to amp.Nice idea just worried about the phones battery

can't help you out there my friend as I have no iPhone . all I know is the iPads battery is incredible.
