Intergrated pluss power amp

Hi, call me stupid if you like but im new to this hifi melarky. I own a Arcam Apha 7r. What i was wondering is there any benefit in adding a power amplifier to this intergrated amp. If so what are the benefits, can it be done ? The speakers im using are Boston Acoustic A26. THANKS FOR ANY HELP .

the boston A26's are single wired??? so you can't bi-amp them.

You could use the Alpha 7r as a pre amp and add a power but i doubt it would improve things.
