I have recently upgraded my kit to the stuff in the headings, but am currently using chord crimson interconnect.  I am looking to change this to (why not!), and wondered any ideas that you all had....

I am using the chord silverscreen with my speakers and like this cable

Cheers

Obviously it depends on your budget but I seem to recall you had £500 to spend on the 192 and should have around £100 left. I'm using the Chord Chameleon Silver Plus - it's very good.

I was looking at the merlin bach and the dnm reson tbb100. ÿI am put off slightly about the silver bit of the above cable, as when using qed silver xt, I didn't like the brightness of it.

ÿ

Do companies let you have a home trial of these cables, or is it go for it and hope?ÿ

Or if you find the Crimson gives a very slight brightness then try a Van Den Hul cable. You might want to get used to the Arcam first before changing the interconnect because you'll understand the sonic changes more clearly. A local dealer such a Sevenoaks is very likely to lend you some to try. Don't bother with Nordost Blue Heaven though as it has a rather bright tendency.
