I am a hifi fan from Turkey and I really need your advice.

I have set of RA-1520 as amplifier and RCD-1520 as CD player. As speaker, I CM9 of B&W with 200 W handling. I would like to increase the power of my current amplifier that is 60W in RA-1520.

My question is that is it right to add a power amplifier (such as RB-1572) to my current set? I doubt that this combination would not fit each other, since RA-1520 is not designed for being used with a power amplifier and it has both pre and power amplifier features.

Would such a combination (RA-1520 , RCD-1520 , RB-1572) provide the very same sound quality that a combination with a pre and power amlifier (RB-1572 and RC-1580)?

What would the total output of such combination (RA-1520 , RCD-1520 , RB-1572)? Would it be the total of 60W of RA-1520 and 250W of RB-1572 that is amounting to 310W or would it be only 250W of the power amplifier?

My last question is regarding my speakers that have 200W handling. Would they fit to such a combination with 250W or 310W?

Yes, you can add a power amp to the 1520 - it has preouts for just this purpose.

How the sound would compare with a dedicated preamp used with the same power amp I'm not sure. not having tried it, but given the quality of both components I would suggest it will sound very good indeed.

No, the power being delivered to the speakers will be that of the power amplifier - ie 250Wpc. This will be no problem with your speakers.
