In Ceiling Speakers Help!!!!!

Help my electrician is putting pressure on me to select my ceiling speakers. Can anybody offer any suggestions regarding what brands/models are best from budget thru mid range to expensive.

Any help is appreciated.

I have had the Monitors in my new house and they were great. I went with the Focal's with this house and there great....here is the lay down it want in your face not splashy but upfront get the Focal. If you are looking for a more mellow sound even banded get the Monitors. Price wise there about the same are your not going to go wrong with either of those and I believe that both tweeters are not directional meaning you can aim them anywhere you want and then set the frequency once your sitting and settled but the middle or "0" is usually best.

Agree with Matt.
I bought 4X Monitor Audio C280's from Ceiling Speakers, I got a very good price and very fast delivery. I am also very impressed with these speakers.

One thing to remember is you need to know the gap between your upstairs floor and you downstairs ceiling as not all speakers are the same depth. Also once I'd installed my speakers I put some loft insulation to each side to help with damping and it did make a big improvement.
