Why all the fuss on brightness? What is more important is natural colour, motion and contrast. Has the industry lost their way in a marketing game on brightness?

In my experience, HDR formats bring as much to 4k as the higher resolution, and you need higher brightness capacity to deliver it. Whether it's become too big a focus I don't know.
