I really hope these three CES 2025 audio launches are the start of a trend

I'm as interested to hear these new speakers as anyone, but you might want to listen to a few more before saying the Ruark are currently the only good affordable option for desktops.

I bought the new Adam 3DV recently and love them. Beautiful tweeter that's extended and detailed but never harsh. Impressively clean, transparent, and open from top to bottom with a flat AF frequency response. Very easy to use.

And about a year ago I bought a pair of Vanatoo Transparent Zero+ for my dad and they're brilliant. The soft dome isn't quite as airy as the Adam but they image incredibly well while having a full-bodied and confident character. (More punch than the Adam but still quite clean down low.) Bass and treble can be adjusted through the DSP, as can a desk/stand boundary correction. (For nearfield listening, limiters can be disabled to increase dynamics as well.)

They are somewhat different to each other but either of them are perfectly satisfying desktop options to me and I'd encourage you to try them out.

(For reference, my ever-evolving main system hovers in the $15K USD range -- Hegel, ProAc, Buchardt, Harbeth, Pass Labs, etc. And for direct triangulation, I did own for a bit a pair of the KEF LSX you mention. I have not heard the Ruark.)
