COME ON HOW TO YOU GET AN AVATAR PIC ON THIS WEBSITE?

EVERYTIME I UPLOAD AN IMAGE FROM MY COMP IT SAYS SUMMAT LIKE IT WILL TAKE TEN MIN TO TAKE EFFECT, AND IT NEVER WORKS !!!!!

I've had no uploading problems and suspect the image(s) you are attempting to use is too large. It should be no more than 80 x 80 pixels I believe.

I had trouble getting my avatar into place and had to ask the kindly AE to help out. There is at least one thread dedicated to this problem. Not sure what the problem is but as I have avatars on several other sites successfully uploaded by myself I doubt its a size issue on my part (lol).
