Huge banner ads at the top of the screen

Anyone else plagued by the massive ad banners at the top of any WHF webpage ? LG and Bose feature prominently. Do they really think that such ads will increase sales ? For me, it guarantees that they have lost my custom for good.

Even AdBlock Plus won't stop them (using Firefox 41).

For some reason I was not subscribed to any ad block filter list in AdBlock Plus. I switched the list on, and the ads are now suppressed completely.

I know ad-blockers are frowned upon but without some kind of blocker I find this site unusable. Ads on this website have IMO passed saturation point. But there seems to be worse days than others, which is strange.
