How to connect an iPhone 4 to a fatman carbon mk 1?

I bought a fatman valve amp, carbon edition with some monitor audio BR1 speakers a couple of years ago, now i have an iPhone 4 and it won't recognise it.

I think the only way to connect my iPhone 4 would be with a seperate dock? (i have used the headphone jack with phono leads and it sounds poor) so...

Can anyone recommend a dock to do this? i'm looking to spend around £50-£80 at the most

Or do i sell the fatman and invest in a new amp/dock system?

if you want to be able to control the ipod by remote or charge it buy a dock if thats not essential look at the above cable, takes a line out of the bottom of the ipod bypassing all the volume control like a good dock would - have used the above and is a lot better than using the headphone socket - there maybe some cheaper alternatives on ebay but never tried them
