how many cables do i need

I am new to the home cinema game , and i need advice on hdmi leads , if i buy a good quality hdmi to connect from amp to tv to improve picture and audio , do i need the same hdmi leads from blu-ray and sky+hd to connect to amp.

Yes leads needed they don't need to be the same obviously and if it needs to be long ensure it is a good one.

No they don't have to be the same brand, im using 1 Chord and 3 cheaper ones, and at the moment can't justify spending another £180 on Hdmi cables. If you need three cables and can't afford to spend £60 a cable, i would look at some Qed ones around £25-30.
