How lean and bright sounding is the Cyrus 8vs2?

Hi,

Just wondeing how forward, lean or bright the Cyrus 8vs2 is compared to my creek evo amp?

Would it be a big improvement in sound clarity etc?

I am just wondering, a question more than I am looking to update my system, as I have not long had all my things and like the sound it produces....

I think you'd find that it'd gel well with the Arcam CDP and your Spendor speakers

The 8v2 isnt lean or bright sounding at all IMO; it's a definate upgrade from the 8vS integrated amp with more bass depth and smoother midrange.

The Arcam CDP will provide some warmth to the sound and the Spendors will offer the clarity and detail.

That sounds good, as I have seen in the ultimate guide that the cyrus and spendor go well together.

Oh well, a few years down the line, as cash is hard to come by at the moment!
