How do I copy something in here from word

How do I copy from Word into here.
This used to be easy until the site got upgraded but I have been unable to do since, I know I'm not as good as most of you on here but I never had a problem before.

I'm on IE11. If I type something in Word, highlight it, right click and Copy or paste, I then right click in here and get a box up that says Paste, I click on that and get a box that says "Do you want to allow this webpage to access your clipboard" I click on "allow access" but nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong.
My previous post proved it didn't work.

I've noticed oddness trying to copy and past stuff on this forum, the text editor here doesn't seem to like it.

you could try pasting your text into notepad then copy that text into here?

if that doesn't work you could try changing the editor options, click on your username at the very top, then go to settings and scroll down a bit, you'll see options for changing the editor. Try that

Select the text you want to copy with the mouse as usual & copy then using your keyboard press Ctrl & V together to paste into onto this forum - You can copy from any program using the keyboard Ctrl & C instead of the mouse command Copy

Maybe I misunderstood the issue. I thought he had tried using the usual copy paste methods but was having problems with the site being weird.

Ive experienced oddness myself trying to copy and paste from different sources to this site.

1) Copy paste using your keyboard if you are on a PC.

2) If you use Notepad to clean the formating, it will also clean the paragraph codes <p> and all your paragraphs will mush together irreparably. Using Microsoft Word is a better option to maintain formating.

3) Paste from a website and don't mind if it looks bad in the text editor. When you go in Preview or Publish, you will see that WHF overides all previous CSS style formating and the final pusblished text will look like any other text posted here.

Many tools available for forum users elsewhere have been disabled here in order to give WHF staff a hands free moderated system. Spam bots can't bypass the disabled features or the spam filters, as you can notice even us humans strugle. The benefit is less posted viagra phone numbers for me to remember calling on Monday for a refill.

Notepad is the same as Word, does not work and the only thing I can change in Settings is Plain Text to Comment Filter which also made no difference, This is typed in with Comment Filter highlighted

Control V and C also do not work

As a last resort, what about this.

Paste your copied text into the address bar, copy that then paste into the editor here.

Or

Copy your text but before you paste anything type a few random letters into the editor then try pasting.

Just for the sake of clarity. The issue I've experienced when copy pasting in this forum is that I can paste the text I to the editor and it looks like it's worked but when you hit save or preview the text is then gone.

Yep with chrome you can do smileys, cut and paste and upload photos, links etc all not possible on my machine using IE 11 good job IE is not the leading web browser!

I'm a chrome man in general but IE is very quick and looks very good on Windows 8 and Windows 10. I haven't even bothered installing Chrome on my HTPC.
