Home cinema speaker upgrade

I currently have a pair of mordaunt short mezzo 2 speakers, i have only ever used them for music. However i want to upgrade to a home cinema system. Would i be better off getting rid of my current speakers or can i mix them in with others to give me a decent home cinema setup?

Hi sculler78 & welcome to the forum

You could keep the speakers you have & get another pair of Mezzo 2 speakers with a Mezzo 5 Centre speaker. All you would need is a subwoofer to match, but that is not as important as the rest matching for tonal consistency across the range.

It is all down to the budget & A/V amp you are pairing them with? as you haven't given either one this would probably be the cheapest route for you.
