Highest quality audio from youtube and other websites?

Hi,

I listen to a lot of classical music and other live music directly from Youtube. If I work my way through an Apple TV optically, an external DAC into a hifi system, can I expect good sound quality (with HD type of videos) or will it at best sound like a 128k MP3?
