Hi

Recently bought Leema Tucana amp & Antila CD player, looking to upgrade speakers. Short listed Sonus Faber Cremona M, Monitor Audio PL300 and Mordaunt Short Performance 6 LE. Assuming Your thoughts on the best partner and whether the Tucana can drive all these comfortably and to get the best out of them what cables would you recommend?

Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question but I know someone who will. Contact Trevor at Guildford Audio and he'll be able to point you in the right direction. He might even have the Sonus Faber to Demo with your Tucana gear

What kind of music are you listening to? How do you listen - loud/late at night? What size is your room? The Leema is a good amp , what did you listen to when you bought it?

I'd also add the Kudos C30, stunning speakers, if you like speed and spot on bass timing. For cables Acrolink or Acoustic Revive.

not too loud, mostly listen to pop, rock, RnB and some dance. Room is 15 feet by 8 feet. When I bought the amp, listened to Kings of Leon, Michael Jackson, Massive Attack.

We'd be adding Proac and ATC to the list - much better than the Performance 6's when we had them here for several months. How these will get on with your amp I can't comment as I'm not familiar with the Leema.

Thanks for that, I would add the Dali Helicon 400 and PMC Ob1i to your short list. I am not too sure that the Leema is a good enough match with the Performance 6's , they are not as flexible with the choce of electronics although with the correct pairing can sound superb. I would advise a home demonstration if you opt for them.
