High Current amplification

There is no difference between a 'high current' amp and a 'high rms rated' amp (you'll see from the specs page that Krell still quote RMS figures) it's just that they tend to have the power supplies/resevoirs to actually deliver those figures into lower and lower ohm's. In theory, the perfect amplifier, if such a thing exists, will double it's power delivery as the ohm load halves i.e. this one delivers 900w into an 8 ohm load, 1,800w into a 4 ohm load and, knowing Krell, 3,600w into a 2 Ohm load.
