Hi Fi Speakers to partner AV amp.

As you can see from my kit list, I have a Sony 2400, a good av amp which I like a lot. Have just received a small windfall and am looking to buy some hi fi speakers. I prefer a slightly warmer sound as the Sony can be a bit clinical for music using my KEF crestas.. Any reasonable suggestions welcome. Looking for something similar to the old Tannoy Mercury standmounts from 20 years ago. Remembering that its an AV amp, suggestions over 500 quid may be pushing it a bit. The reason I ask is that I cannot easily demo a good selection here in Spain - Decent hi fi shops are rarer than rocking horse pooh out here!

if you can run off speaker b so you keep the kefs as a 5.1 i would try dali's i have never seen a comment that they are over top and over all give a nice sound. If not maybe some second hand missons they seem to good to my my ears
