I want to buy some kind of high-end headphones to enjoy good music, but I am new in this area, so i would like to hear any advice if you can help . so far in my research I looked at B&O beoplay H8 and H6, i love their design, but they are a bit pricey and I dont want to spent money if its not worth and I can get something much better and much cheaper, I was also looking at headphones as IPhilips Fidelio M1MKII,PHILIPS Fidelio M2BTBK,Sennheiser Momentum,Sennheiser hd 650. I have read many reviews on these but maybe, but still not sure what to buy, maybe if you can compare these or recommend even something different i would be really happy, I want to use them on my pc,hifi or smartphone, mostly at home but if i can they them outside it will be good. thank you in advance for every advice.

The AKG K553 is the best headphone I know in the under-£300 category. It's closed back like the H6. The H8 is good for Bluetooth, but not good for sound quality.

We seem to have forgotten to ask the OP what music he likes and what the source is going to be.

Ivan, can you elaborate please?

is is going to be used on my phone , notebook and hifi. Do any need any kind of amp for those?

I want them to be balanced , I am new into this so they gona be used for movies, music (rock, indie, classic,), gaming, I dont need to much bass as beats.

What about some of those which I mentioned? Beoplay H6 and H8 a sennheiser momentum for example?

I will use them mostly at home but also, as I will travel in train, car, plane.. so it will be good if they gonna be little bit portable and noise canceling, I dont know if over year or on-year.. but maybe on-year will be more practical for me

The K553 is very balanced as to bass-mids-treble etc. The H6 and H8 are very colored in their response, although I EQ mine for a more hi-fi sound.

The K553 is very efficient and needs no add'l amp, so you can look into amps as a separate issue at your leisure.

I've reviewed about 150 headphones, and I have 15 of them in the house now, ranging in sound from bassy and treble-shy to bright and very lean in the bass. So the more you specify about what you want, the more the other people here can recommend for you according to your specifications.

It is hard for me to tell what is my need in the sund specification, I have never bought any kind of this price-level headphones, just a shity ones for uder 20euro, and It is also hard for me to try some out in the store because I dont know about any shops in my reasonable range to travel, it is mostly just web shop, I can only visit B&O shop, but I wont be able to compare them with any other phones, so I mainly this if the B&O are worh their price because they are more expesive then the others.

B&O worth their price? How can they be worth their price when there are better headphones for 1/2 to 1/3 their price? Did you not read the previous answers?
