help with itunes

Hello all,

Does anyone know if its possible too rip my cd collecion to itunes in apple losless, then transfer those albums to my iphone in mp3 320?

Hi

Unfortunately, not through iTunes. I have requested them to allow users to alter the standard 128mbps conversion but no response.

I believe other programmes will allow you to rip two copies at a time i.e. one in lossless and one at 320 mp3.

My solution is to log onto my PC as another user and in that iTunes I add files from my lossless library and then get this 2nd version fo iTunes to convert to 320mp3. Messy but it works - although it does mean I have 2 copies of each song.

The only alternative is about as long winded I'm afraid.

Rip them into Itunes in Apple Lossless, then highlight all the folders for lossless in the Itunes folder on your PC and convert to mp3 in batch mode.

You would then clear you library and add the mp3 folders, update the Ipod.

Clear the library again, delete the mp3 folders from your PC (if you want to) then add all your music again to Itunes (inc the Apple Lossles).

Don't know an easier solution, sorry.
