Help with HDR Content on LG OLED 55B6V

Hi everyone. I'm after a bit of help regarding HDR content on my new LG TV. I'm using the TV's Netflix app which i know can stream content in both 4K HDR and 4K Dolby Vision.

However, I don't appear to be able to get the HDR content to work. The TV should detect it automatically.

When you select a movie which is HDR it should show a HDR menu picture settings in the top right but it doesn't. If I watch a Dolby Vision movie then it does show the picture setting for DV.

Absolutely no idea why HDR content is not playing / or the TV is not detecting it and switching picture settings?

Any idea anyone?

You will get a much better response if you go to the AV forums website. Just create an account, and go to Forums> tv> Oled section> Owners thread for your model.

Thank you. Think i sorted it now though. I don't think Netflix broadcast in HDR only Dolby Vision. I found a HDR program on Amazon and the TV switches to show a HDR signal received. My misunderstanding I think.

my understanding is, that to get the benefits of 4k and hdr you need a fast broadband speed.

something like 25mbps

i am currently struggling along with 5mbps till our contract is up.
