Help please

I would like to know what I should buy...I am torn between the Onkyo 505/605 or the Sony STRDG 910.....Which is the better? I will be running an upscaling DVD through it an Xbox Elite, Sky and a PS3. The TV will either be a Sharp 52X20E or a Samsung LE46F86BDX. I would also like advice regarding 5.1 speakers to go with it. The budget for receiver and speakers is around the £800 mark, the room in question is not terribly large around 14m sq.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I'm at my wits end now!

I would try on the other section as this is for 2 channels nutters....like me and I know bog all about multi channels gears.
