Hello Everybody,

I want to connect an integrated amp (Yamaha A-S500) and a AV Receiver (Onkyo 595) to the same front speakers.

I know there are several options, but for various reasons i think switches could be the best choice for me.

I have three in mind:

http://www.russound.com/product_detail.php?i=1768

http://www.nilesaudio.com/product.ph...rdcdID=FG00003

http://www.speakercraft.com/products...category_id=18

Now the questions:

My favorite would be the SpeakerCraft. Agree?

Such connections seem to me strange. Are compatible with the audio cables we use in europe?

Losses ... I know that they exist. Are significant?

All of them are only available in the U.S. market. where can i find those products in europe?

And finnaly, do you think there are better alternatives than these for what I want?

Thanks

Thank you.

This did not know. I will search.

It would be a good opportunity and a loss of sound acceptable?

Greetings

Well,

I think that´s the one. Good reviews...and it seems good.

Thanks again.

Hello again Andrew,
Sorry for the insistence. You think it's possible to connect these two amplifiers to one subwoofer (Monitor Audio ASW-100)?

Can I use a Y adapter for subwoofer?

I have to use links Beresford? How?

Or otherwise?

Thanks

No, those speaker switches are designed for stereo speakers at amplifier level, not the preamp output required for a subwoofer. You could use a Y-adapter, but to you may run into grounding/hum problems; better would be a line-level switcher.

Hello Andrew,
I tested the Y-adapter for subwoofer and it works perfectly.
As for the switch Beresford, I'm waiting to arrive by mail. As soon as I take the test, i´ll leave feedback here.
Thanks

Hello Andrew,

Beresford finally arrived and is already working. Excellent product. It was exactly what I needed.
Without noticeable loss of quality and very practical.
Thanks for the suggestion.
