I Have a really good pair of Denon in ear headphones for my Ipod touch, but when listening at home, I would like a "Proper" Pair of headphones - what is good at around 50 quid?? Probably used through Ipod/ cd player headphone socket- Denon 501 / Sennheiser ??

Depends what sound you like. Sennheiser - nice warm-ish sound - works for me. Grado - hated them (SR125s).

sennheiser px100 are great value for about 30/35 £

A vote for the PX200s which are closed back and give some oomph to the sound. If you like your Denon in ear, why not go for the Denons?
