Hi,

apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere. I have a Project Debut Carbon turntable with Audioengine A5+ speakers that I used to use with my computer. When buying the turntable last week I also bought a Project Phono Box MM to send the correct signal to the speakers. I now realise that I have no headphone option with this setup. Any advice on the best way to get a headphone connection with this system? Should I dispense with the Phono Box MM and get an amp with a built-in phonostage and headphone capacity? Or should I just buy a separate headphone amplifier?

Many thanks!

If you were to buy the Audioengine D3 DAC (plus headphone amp), you could use it as a DAC ahead of your speakers, or use it as your headphone amp (for most headphones).
