Headphones for commuting and TV

Hi all,

I'm looking for a pair of headphones for my daily commute, but that can also double up as headphones to watch TV or play Playstation, ideally some on-ears (due to portability) but I'm open to over-ears too. I commute on the London underground and therefore it's key that the headphones to have some pretty good noise isolation (I used to have some cheap Sony MDR-ZX100 and they were no good for that) and that do not leak. I mostly watch TV shows on the tube but also music. I'd also like them to sound good when watching TV or playing PS3 (I would use an extension lead to plug them into the TV if the lead is not long enough). Ideally I'm looking to spend around £40-80. I've had a look at the AKG K451s but some of the reviews say their noise isolation is not enough on the tube.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the type of headphone I'm looking for?

Thanks,

If you are travelling on the tube then I would suggest some In Ear Monitors as they block out up to 30db of noise.

These would be ideal http://www.hifiheadphones.co.uk/rha-ma450i-in-ear-isolating-earphones-with-apple-controls-mic-black.html
