Headphones and other things for 300$

Hello, I'd like to buy headphones as well as a DAC and probably a little headphone amp for about 250-300$. It would be used to listen to music and sometimes play FPS games. I'm thinking about getting a DT990 Pro 250 ohms with a Fiio E10K as well as a small headphone amp, the Millenium HA 4. Are these good choices? Have you got any better idea for the price? *biggrin* Also, i'd like to have quite a "warm" sound, something pleasant with nice bass without neglecting the rest.I'd really like to avoid having a sound that seems strident and unpleasant. What I really need is a nice warm sound, I want to listen to music and pretty much just chill. *biggrin* Anyway, I'd really like to get your opinions or your suggestions!

Try finding a pair of Sennheiser 205ll's.

These are not 'expensive' super headphones. But they are very good sounding - they retail at around the £50 mark or less in the UK.

They do have an issue though, when new they're tight and will be uncomfortable, especially if you wear glasses. They do loosen with time.

They don't use any noise cancelling Tec but the grip on them blocks out alot of ambient noise and stops noise leakage. In the home they are excellent with music and tv/films

They are also quite smart looking imo. Although I'm not a fan of wearing headphones outside the home.

Test a pair at your local HMV - pound for pound per sound they're excellent value and do not suffer from harshness or boom , they also come with a long chord about 3m.

Read up on them at Amazon, they're good.
