Hello, for Hi-Fi I know what to buy, how a cable can influence the sound. Is this the same for TV? Does it matter what kind of HDMI I buy? A simple cable could be as good as an Audioquest?

HDMI is digital, therefore it either works or it doesn’t, (Blank screen or pixilation) therefore providing the cable meets the HDMI Specifications, it will make NO difference, whether you spend £5 or £5000 on a cable. (This applies to audio and video, so don’t fall for the con that Hi-Fi cable manufactures spit out on their websites)

Hope this helps

Absolutely agree Bill. Curry's peddle £75 HDMI leads even before you have looked at a TV. Big money earner for them.

Totally agree with the above posts. I use a 15 meter cable, cost was under £15. Performance is perfect. It has been in use for two years.
