HD sound problem from bd30 to 606.

I have a panasonic bd30 attached to a onkyo 606 with a hdmi lead - the bd30 is set to bitsream, but when playing 'batman begins' on blu-ray, I am only getting dolby digital on th 606 display. How can I get it to play in true HD sound?

I don't have the panny myself but i suspect you need to select Dolby TrueHD on the audio menu. The film probably defaults to DD.

I have selected Dolby TrueHD on the bd30 and also changed to PCM in the settings, now i get PCM multich on the onkyo 606 display but I can't understand why it 's not displaying TrueHD.

Hi beater,

you need have bitstream audio selected in the BD30's menu, not PCM. Then, select the Dolby True HD soundtrack option from the Batman Begins audio options menu. This should do the trick...
