My amp wont accept audio via HDMI so in order to get HDaudio I need to connect it to the BDPs550 I've just ordered (very excited about this as it should arrive in time for Christmas!).

I think I need RCA cables, my amp is 5.1 only so do I guess I need 6 cables. Can anyone confirm my assumption?

Could anyone suggest a reasonably cheap set please? The blu-ray player will be connected to a CA Azur amp which then powers the Jamo sat/sub set so I don't want to spend a fortune on what is a modest set up (although I'm happy with it which is the main thing).

I will only need about 50cms of cable, but I'm guessing the shortest they come is 1m.

All advice greatly received and appreciated.

thanks

I use these:

Mark Grant uses similar cable/connectors in his setup. If you're after some cheap phonos, I can recommend 3 of the ixos XHA215
