Hi all,

Really wasn't expecting much from this but after seeing the trailer figured it was worth a punt.

'Thought it was great!'

So, so funny in places, intentionally far fetched and a little daft.Yet genius!

Check out the 3D glasses movie section in the Hospital, couldn't stop laughing - 'Yehhhh'!

HIghly recommended, best 'remove your brain' movie i have seen in years.

Yep, seen it - subwoofers nearly jumped across the room

Dumb, dumb fun - remove brain before watching, DEFINITELY suspend disbelief and enjoy the ride/noise

.

Oh, and don't think you have centre-speaker issues re dialogue - a lot of it (BA especially) is mumbled/badly dubbed

Yep, being a movie buff from an early age (blame my mom...lol ... all things western and Allied/German,Japanese war) I have saw this as with many others ... Great pop-corn movie and great sound to boot 🙂 (like our Clair says) 🙂

Inception next on my Christmas List. Heard great things from the forum members about this one. Hurt Locker requested from Santa too.

I would also suggest Ben Afflecks' new film The Town..best heist film since Heat, very good...!!

I liked the A team but a lot of my friends didn't but they don't have surround sound.

I have heard alot of mixed reports about this, stuff like it is a sell out of the originals in that people die, not sure if this is true or not?

Also that the original characters were not impressed with it but since heard one of them saying they liked it.

I just watched a flick called 'Easy A'. I thought it was going to be a dumb chick flick, but it was suprising. Intelligent and funny script and really well acted by Emma Stone and Stanley Tucci, in particular. It's a great feel-good flick, intentionally reminiscent of the classic 80's John Hughes films.

Yes, but you have to remember that the team do not become the good citizens of society until they finish all the service stuff. Guess it would be hard to be a 'crack' military team and never kill. So A Team 2 then.

Didn't like the fact that Murdock is now wanted by the Government, in the originals he was the only one not wanted 'for a crime he didn't commit'. Strange that BA's van is at the start but then if you look closer its not the fully 'kitted out' version of the later series, just a basic van. Face doesn't have a great car either.
