Harbeth M30

Welcome to the forum.

Harbeth make no special claims about stands, simply suggesting that the tweeter is roughly level with your ears. They give measurements on their website to help. Their designer says a pile of books will do! However, most owners seem to favour the Hifi Racks models specifically made for each Harbeth (if you want wood), or welded steel open frame types. The latter are often chosen because of the thin wall cabinet design, which contributes to the sound.

As for cable, again the designer suggests Amazon basics OFC or something equally modest. Harbeth fit Van Damme internally, so their shotgun Hifi range is a good place to look. That’s the one with a transparent sleeve, not the ‘blue’ or Tour designs.

Cables: Qed Xt40i? Sommercable? Kimber 4tc? Monster? Under 200$ for pair..
Where did that list come from?
Can you borrow any to audition?
Failing that any of those will do the job. How many metres are you looking at?
I hope this isn't going to become another cable thread because correctly positioning your speakers in your room is going to be far more important than the bit of wire that connects them to your amplifier.....
