Just had a look as i'm weighing up the pros & cons of freesat tuner tv compared to freesat pvr.If i understand things correctly,if you have a tv with f.sat tuner you still have to buy something to record onto because you can't connect to existing recording equipment. So might be better to get a cheaper tv & buy the humax or this grundig.

As you say it is more expensive £325,big disc, the humax is £279 also at maplin.

FYI, i noticed earlier that the Grundig PVR i originally linked to is only available for pre-order with no mention of when it's due to be available.

So it seems the Humax is still the only pvr available at the moment (discounting the expensive Panasonic Blu-ray/HDD?Freesat recorders) and you can get the Humax HDR for less than maplins are charging, £247 From Here for example.

Going for a Freesat pvr will certainly open up your options for tvs to buy, and eliminates any recording issues. Its the route i took and would recommend it.
