I don't see any mention of the Grooveshark site on these forums since Nov 09. Is this because forum members don't rate the site very highly, or are there still legal issues with the company? There still isn't any advertising on the site and the catalogue seems to be huge. What's the problem guys and girls?

I still dip in occasionally, but I find its interface hard to use and I dont like the adverts persuading you to get American shiny teeth, which show some rather horrible photos and I just logged in and there they were! The legality aspect is a worry. Sound quality also varies from better than Spotify to worse than. There is also more Scandinavain Prog Rock on Spotify than Grooveshark.

I get a verticle bar on the right of the screen which takes up about 1/8th of the page. At the bottom is a click box to remove the adverts for $3 a month.

Teeth, ring tones, avatars and slimming programmes are the main ones I get. So thye are not personalised as my teeth are fine, I hate mobile phones, I only need one avatar and I have already got one and I am beautifully slim.

My main issue is with useability. Spotify is far simpler.
