Good Idea?

I own a Beresford Dac 7510 and Cambridge Ausio 540a amp. I use squeezebox but I want a CDP for the occasional times when I just want to listen to one disc. My Pioneer BDP-320 blu ray player struggles to read some cds, gutted as this is the reason I have this dilema. I was thinking of buying a CA340c for cheap. That way the CDP aesthetically looks good with the amp and I won't need its internal dac as I would use the Beresford.

I think that sounds like a good plan?

Still have the 340C and like it. If you buy it (should be cheap now as 350c is out) would be interested in how you compare it on it's own and run through the external DAC (Beresford), in terms of sound quality. Glad I bought the CA instead of the NAD. I got the 5 year warranty for the 340c but doubt I'll use it now as the player seems very reliable! Will buy another CA player in future. :)
