Very excited for this movie to come out.
Since I can remember I was totally obsessed with Godzilla and dinosaurs.
I can remember crying uncontrolled when baby Godzilla went into hibernation.
Now in my 40s I'm like a child again.
I can't wait

I really like how they are doing it and Kong skull island was great too.

Seems Disney and Rian Johnson totally f'd up star wars there is not much left done correctly.

I've heard the name, but I couldn't tell you what / who Godzilla is. But then I'm unusual, I've never had any role model(s).

Used to go and see the early Godzilla films when they used to show them at the cinema on Saturday morning. I’ve been into monsters since I was a toddler.

Other than being into dinosaurs from as early as I remember, I’m guessing Godzilla maybe have been my earliest brush with movie monsters, along with Harryhausen stop-motion movies.

If you’re referring to the 1998 Roland Emerich effort, then yes, that was complete tosh. Some nice shots in it here and there, but just ended up getting completely silly.

While the recent one was no masterpiece, it’s head and shoulders above the one mentioned above. My earliest exposure to Godzilla was the original 50s Japanese version, and the sequels that came after, which could sometimes be seen in cinemas on Saturday mornings.
