Hello

Whilst being generally delighted with my new Panny, there have been the odd occasions during several transmissions where odd characters appear with what appear to be stocking masks on or had their faces gelled out like inadvertant, reluctant crimewatch witnesses

Whilst only a minor irritant, what is causing this or should I just get my meds changed?

I'm sure you guys have a term for this and a solution

Must be the meds.....answering my own mail!!!!

Disapointed that no one appears to have encountered this phenomenon.......

Wimbledon was superb-it was just that the odd spectator from a distance took on the faceless form of a Cyberman.

The new unit is a 37LZD85 Panasonic and everything else is absolutely superb

Help please.

Thanks,John

I have tried a number of different settings to no great effect. Although it is a

full HD unit, I do not have sky and the transmissions were Freeview SD.

I bought a QED HDMI lead to upscale my DVDs from my Sony HDD unit. This does not apear to have the same problem-except that it exposes the home made discs i have burned and tried to put too much on the disc--quality is very poor.

As I have said..it is only a minor irritation but sort of ruins the total joy of a new set.

If it is an upscaling problem..any remedy I can take or just live with it?

Thanks for advice

I turned on the Picture Overscan feature during todays Wimbledon.......and the jelly babies in ski-masks appear to have gone for now.

Fingers crossed............would an old copy of Toy Story have the THX??.Looked a double disc of Ratatouille today and it wasnt listed as an extra.

Thanks again
