I'm looking at AV receivers with a view to buying one at some point, probably after finally upgrading the TV from one worked on by Logie Baird himself. At the mo I have a HD recorder with HDMI out, and that's it. The question is, how many HDMI inputs and how many HDMI outputs does a receiver need, and why?

Mine has 3 in 1 out, but if you want to be certain make sure it has 4 in
I have a PS3 and Sky HD, so thats all I need for now.
Future proof. no such think, but I think if something has 4 in and 1 out that would be more than enough
