Fungus on Speaker Grills

Hello All,

I own a Monitor Audio GS 60. I am in Mumbai and the rains and damp weather is playing hell to my speaker grills. I am finding fungus on the inside of the grills. The speaker is not getting affected. Even if I clean it with a dry cloth, it comes back the next day. Can somebody please advise. Thanks

Keep cleaning it try an anti fungal spray? Maybe try athletes foots spray 🙂 (jk).

Try and find a natural predator that feeds on the stuff. Snails or frogs? A dehumidifier may be more practical though.

Why not contact your local Monitor Audio distributor/stockist to see if they've an idea - there may be a treatment available.

In the meantime, maybe leave the grilles off?
