Freesat new channels?

Finally got a new channel on freesat other day there wedding tv +1. When are we actually going to get something that is actually new. Like a sports channel, even if its just highlights, a bit like eurosport or a sports news channel like sky. I know we cant have sky channels but there must be alternatives!

Hi eremis6, Yes I must agree when are we going to get some better channels i am a little disappointed with what is on, saying that BBC HD excellent.

Channel 4 HD would be a good start and some HD film channels. I'm not interested in sport but I watched the rugby on Saturday on BBC HD just for the fab picture!

I'd like Freesat to ditch the station ident logos too.

Yeh, an HD film channel would be perfect but i dont see it happening any time soon. even if itv hd was actually a channel, then at least if you didnt like what was on the bbc hd channel, you could at least turn over and still watch something in HD. Im not expecting lots of HD channels, this would be unrealistic since it is free, unlike sky. Just an alternative!
