Foxsat HDR with old tv

I'm buying a new home and plan to invest in a new HD TV. At the moment I'm debating getting Sky or going with Freesat via the the Foxsat HDR receiver.

Until I make a decision on my TV, will I be able to use the Foxsat box to deliver pictures to my old CRT? and if so, can I record HD content even though the TV is not HD?

Yes, you can connect the Foxsat HDR to your existing TV via RF (aerial) or RGB Scart connections for the moment.

And yes, you can record HD content, even though of course you'll only be able to view it in SD via your current TV.
