Flac to iPhone

Hello I have my music stored on a music server in Flac. I want to know what is the best way to listen to it on my iPhone 4s? Is I match the way to go or can I transfer my music to my phone?

Either download flac player or transcribe to Alac. Match is great, but won't maintain lossless quality.

What is Flac Player? Does imatch put my music "in" my phone or do I "download" my music. Sorry about my terminology but I am a technophobe.
