HI

I use db poweramp to rip my CDs to my NAS NAD. I have also receently started to use qobuz to download music too.

I still use my I pod in the car as its conveneient. Is there ar way I can convert my FLAC files to MP3 for the ipod. At present i rip the disc again in I tunes, but this is geting to be a pain. Also when I use qobuz i obvioulsy cant do this.

Can i use my DB poweramp to convert the Flac files. Sorry if an obvious question. Any help appreciated.

Set the output directory for the mp3 rip to the itunes folder?

......also not sure how I convert them.

As said, use the dBpoweramp converter tool, Start Menu - All Programs- dBpoweramp Music Converter, on my PC at least.

They go exactly where you tell them go, halfway down the Music Converter screen "Output Location", you have "Original Folder" or "Folder" where you can tell it where to put the converted files.

Thanks for the help. yes I have located them, but they did not go to my i tunes library. I have copied them into my I tunes library, but this is nearly as much hassle as doing two rips. For my qobuz downloads I now know what to do......it is a bit of hassle though.

Once again thank you

So just change the location of the output folder to the iTunes library location!

Incidentally when you rip a CD you can tell dBpoweramp to rip to two different formats, *in two different locations*, *AT THE SAME TIME*, you don't need to do the rip twice. In the CD ripper window, bottom left hand section, change the "Rip to" option to "Multi-Encoder" and then in the section to the right of that select FLAC, click settings, set the output location to wherever you normally put your FLAC files, then click the "Add Encoder" button, add mp3, click the settings button next to that and set the output to the iTunes folder, then when you rip it'll all go where it's supposed to.
