hi

i recieved a creek evo amp today but it seems to be faulty , i can only get sound from the right speaker? , anyway does anyone know how superfi returns works , do they send a courier and do an exchange ??

cheers

If it's a repair job & you bought it from a shop, then just take the amp into them & they will sort it out from there usually two - four weeks.

If you bought it from the internet, then your probably best to ring or e-mail them.

yeah internet , i have emailed waiting for response , cant believe its faulty , i just hope they can arrange an exchange by courier

Super-Fi are usually very good. They are very customer focused so I'm sure you will be looked after.

If you do have any problems (unlikely), Creek are renowned for excellent customer service.

the fault seems a strange one ,hopefully someone can help if i explain it , i get no sound from the left speaker but sound is ok from the right speaker , i tryed taking the right speaker out of the amp and tryed it with just the left connected and i got sound????

but when i connect the right speaker again and try both together i get sound from the right and the left speaker stops working again?

this is strange

hi

on my old nad c320bee it had these amp jumpers on the back , does the creek evo need the same thing ? , these are what i mean

http://www.russandrews.com/product.asp?lookup=1&region=UK&currency=GBP&pf_id=2031&customer_id=PAA1767043209550TDYUOGIWJXZPUZZK

does the evo need these as well

cheers

have you contacted super fi - just get it sent back

what happens if you swap the speakers cables over in the back of the amp i assume the fault doesn't shift to the other channel if it does check your speakers and wiring ect

yeah the fault shifts to the other speaker , ive tryed my old amp and all is fine , got it arranged for a return

*edit* if i swap the speaker cables over on the amp , the right speaker stops working and the left one works , so thats clearly a fault and not my wiring??

yeah i hope so cause i dont want to send it back with nothing wrong to it , but like you say if i swap the cables other in the amp the sound moves to the other speaker , so there must be a problem with the left speaker amp connection
