Equivalent cable

I have some older speaker cable, Sharkwire ofc S25074Q.

What would be a current equivalent wire?

If they need replacing then just get some2.5mm sq. OFC (Copper) cable, as unless the run is extremely long or you have a Megawatt amp output, it’s all you need.

If you want a name try Van Damme as it’s what professionals use.

Avoid anything produced by Hi-Fi cable manufactures as they just rip you off, go to a Pro Music Store instead.

If you want good value, no nonsense cables, I agree with Abacus...but would also add QED 79 Strand and Linn K20 (eBay).

If you want to go for something more exotic, then I'm happy to make suggestions...but it's important to be able to try them before parting with any money, to make sure they give what you consider a worthwhile improvement.
