Can we expect a review of the Epic 1 and/or Epic 2 ? I'm curious how they sound.

Well as far as I'm concerned, right at this very minute the Epic 2 sound very nice indeed. I demo'd them against KEF Q300, B&W 385 and CM1 a few weeks ago and they won me over. I felt they were more detailed and realistic than either of the B&Ws, and with more body in the lower frequencies and a more enjoyable listen than the KEF - as a stand-alone pair of stereo speakers. I was particularly impressed by their realistic portrayal of instruments and very revealing mid-range - compared to my flabby old Wharfedale Valdus 400 floorstanders. Bass is not massive but very punchy and accurate, excellent stereo imaging... and as for female vocals... oohhhh.

I hope I can audition these speakers sometime. I've never liked the tweeters on Epos speakers but I understand these are some new soft-dome tweeters.

Yes, I can't compare them against any other Epos speakers but I did a fair amount of listening at reasonable volumes over the weekend (sorry neighbours!) and it was all very pleasurable. The sound is certainly more open than, say, the B&W 685 and I have used the word "bright" to describe them but I guess it's all relative. Certainly not an uncomfortable listen by any stretch.

The Epic 1s are reviewed in the April issue (on sale the day after tomorrow, with subscribers last weekend I believe).

So did the Epos Epic 1 get a nice review ?

I know nobody is going to tell me, but I'm trying anyway 😉
