Well you better not try to change my mind because this is it.... I've ordered a pair, they will be going on speaker brackets and close to a wall. I'm defying everyone and that's that. I'd like to see the back so I can judge if my owm speaker brackets will fit above or below the rear port.

My new EB1's arrived yesterday, and after a good session they are really starting to sing with my Uniti. Detailed, punchy and a beautiful bass, I think these are going to be "keepers". It just once again proves that there's nothing like trying something at home to see how they perform. Straight out of the box my first recation was "good, but whats the fuss about?". Six hours continuous use later and they were a different beast. I love them.
Just had a pair arrive and straight away the sound was whoa!!....these are something special! Thanks Andrew....it was your considered review in gramophone which whetted my appetite...like others I was wary of the hassle of direct sell/need to return via carrier etc. rather than using a shop home dem. More so because there was a slight problem with the finish on one side of mine and no serial number wriiten on the back. Now here's the main reason for the post. Ricky phoned 2/3 times...i missed on my mobile...when he finally got me everything was sorted out without any fuss by a gentleman....as simple as that.
So for anyone still unsure about EB1's.....the wait....the emails....fear not...Mr.R.Allen is a pleasure to do business with and when those babies arrive you'll understand why he is so proud of them...and why you'll be one very satisfied customer....top class bloke and a top class speaker. A wee classic!

Sounds great I must say, both in terms of music and service. I am waiting for mine too. When did you order your pair? I am trying to get a feel of delivery times. At the time I ordered mine, I called the company and the indication on delivery was 3-4 weeks. Heading into week #8 (!) at this time with them not answering the phone nor replying to emails in the last 2 weeks I am getting mixed feelings about this adventure.
I am at this time seriously considering to cancel my order. Any comments on my experience so far or people like to share their waiting times? Many thanks!

Has anyone tried these with Roksan Kandy Amp ( LIII to be specific), how do they sound with roksan compared to Dynaudio focus series. Thanks.

JJ myorder was placed January 19th...speakers arrived on 6th March....so ,,,,,,just shy of 7weeks (for the oak finish).
At the time i was quoted 6 weeks and ended up 6 weeks 4 days.

Give it a good month to get used to the EB sound, then pop the Quads back on and see what you think. I'd be interested in your opinion and thoughts.
I had old but great B&W DM110s on mine. Swapped back to them after a month of the EB1s and was quite astonished at the difference. The clarity of the EB1s is pretty amazing.

My EB1's are on the way...Finally!
The week before easter I gave the company a call to ask when oh when I was to get my pair of EB1's which I ordered Feb 3rd. And they indicated that the week after easter they were to receive a whole bunch of cabinets. So last week I decided to give it another try and called them again. I received loads of aplogies for all the delays but they were simply swamped with order. A check in the computer indicated that my order was actually next in line. But... they were all out of cross overs. These however were due to be received the very next Friday. So I was told that my speakers were to be assembled on Monday (Today!!) and shipped on Tuesday. So I should have them in Friday.... but Friday is a national holiday here in Holland. So likely a week from now I should have a DHL guy at my door. I must say that Richard explained everything very politely and nice so that surely helps to easy the pain of a 12 week delivery...
Just hoping these things sound as good as the review promised!!
I will let you know next week how they sound.

mine are the same, no serial numbers and a slight problem with the finish on one of the corners, only arrived a few hours ago so giving them a good listen to.....well packaged
