I am very intested in the above speakers, cause I own the NAD 355 / cd545 combo.

Does anyone compare the Dyns against the Neutron V?

Hi GerogeK

I've not heard the Neutron speakers with the NAD combination however fwiw the DM 2/6's or DM 2/7's work superbly with these electronics

is there a big difference between the dm6 and dm7?

about positioning, does the 7 need more space to the rear wall?

I read the neutron + dm 2/6 only needs about 20 cm.

Hi GeorgeK

Yes, the DM 2/7's are clearer in the midrange and overall offer greater scale, depth and dynamics over the already impressive DM 2/6's

The DM 2/7's fully justify the premium over the the DM 2/6's

Btw, the DM 2/6's can be used fairly close to walls.

Manufacturers will give you a guide as to how close their speakers can work against a wall. BUT, these are only guidelines. Most rooms are different, so the outcome can't be predicted. A 20cm recommendation might end up being over a foot in some rooms, and likewise could also end up being 5cm. Experiementation in situ is the only way of truly knowing.
